She appeared in 2004's In Search of the Partridge Family and landed the role of Laurie but unfortunately, The New Partridge Family only filmed a pilot and wasn't picked up.

Cardi B may be a Grammy-winning rapper now, but she got her start on reality TV. Prior to blowing up with her song "Bodak Yellow," she had a stint on the reality series Love and Hip-Hop: New York where she became a fan favorite for her outspoken, candid personality.

Lucy Hale's breakthrough role came as Aria Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars, but before she was acting on that suspenseful teen TV series, she was a contestant on American Juniors. American Juniors was an American Idol spin-off series for younger contestants that lasted a single season and featured both Lucy Hale and Nickelodeon star Katelyn Tarver.
5. Heather Morris
Heather Morris is best known for her role as Brittany S. Pierce on the musical TV series Glee, but she started out as a dancer before she became an actress. After auditioning for season 2 of So You Think You Can Dance and made it through Vegas week, but was cut from the show. Despite this, she went on to tour with Beyonce and after being hired to teach the "Single Ladies" dance to the Glee cast, she was cast on the show.

Unlike some other reality TV stars that went mainstream in Hollywood, Jamie Chung got her start on an MTV reality show. She was one of the cast members of 2004's The Real World: San Diego before she moved on to acting with roles like Mulan in Once Upon a Time and Go Go Tomago for Big Hero 6: The Series.
7. Eva Marcille
Eva Marcille is an interesting inclusion on this list because she started out in reality TV, moved to a mainstream career as a model, and then went right back to her roots on reality TV. She first rose to fame as the winner of the third cycle of America's Next Top Model and continued her modeling career from there before she returned to reality TV with a role on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
8. Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer Hudson appeared on the third season of American Idol and although Fantasia Barrino won that season, Jennifer Hudson has still gone on to have a majorly successful Hollywood career. She appeared alongside Beyonce in 2006's film Dreamgirls and started hosting her own talk show in 2022.
