The Challenge star calls out the GOAT CT Tamburello — ‘I’m not scared of him’
Chris "CT" Tamburello has always been a formidable figure in MTV's The Challenge, intimidating most who cross his path in the contest. With five wins under his belt, CT has proven his prowess across various challenging aspects of the game—from tackling distasteful culinary challenges to excelling in physical and mental tasks.
Despite CT's intimidating presence, Kefla Hare, a standout from the All Stars 4 season, isn’t the least bit daunted by the idea of facing him in a physical showdown. All Stars 4 brought back several beloved competitors from The Challenge and Road Rules, including Adam Larson, with each returning contestant showing they still had what it takes to win.
Speaking on the Zach Nichols Podcast, Kefla, at 49, confidently claimed he could outmatch anyone from the show's history in the type of elimination he faced on All Stars 4. Kefla secured a victory against Syrus Yarbrough in a Hall Brawl-style challenge featuring an aerobics ball in a large tube.
“In that game, I think I’m getting anybody,” he shared. “That’s when football really came in. Hitting and driving your feet.”
Kefla Hare takes aim at one of the GOATS of The Challenge
Kefla didn't stop at his recent competitors; he extended his bold challenge to other veterans of The Challenge, including Adam and Leroy Garrett.
But the call-out that caught everyone's attention was directed at CT.
“People talk about CT being a monster, but in a Hall Brawl? I’d take him on. I'm not scared of him,” Kefla declared during the podcast.
He further joked about the physical challenge: “He's gonna have to beat me bad,” referencing some fans’ beliefs that CT would dominate him in such a matchup. Kefla also reminisced about watching a version of Hall Brawl that included protective gear like helmets and shoulder pads. He even mentioned Faysal “Fessy” Shafaat as another potential competitor he could take down in this type of event.
Kefla's return to the All Stars spinoff was his first appearance since his win on season 2 of The Challenge, then known as Real World vs. Road Rules, nearly a quarter-century earlier.
Meanwhile, CT is gearing up for his twentieth season on The Challenge: Battle of the Eras.
Now 44, CT is part of a 40-person roster that includes legends like Mark Long and Darrell Taylor, and other GOATS like Johnny Bananas and Jordan Wiseley. While CT aims for his sixth title, Kefla's challenge hangs in the air, marking a potential clash that fans would love to see unfold.
The Challenge: Battle of the Eras is set to premiere August 14 on MTV.
