Despite Owning Manhattan not yet being renewed for a second season, Ryan Serhant’s enthusiasm about the potential for more episodes is palpable. In a recent interview with Variety, he shared his insights and expectations for the future of the series.

After a successful first season, Owning Manhattan has quickly gained a following for its in-depth look at the competitive world of luxury real estate in New York City.

The first season gave viewers an insider’s view of the high-stakes dealings within Ryan’s real estate company. It chronicled not only the successes but also the occasional losses of his team as they navigated the market's ups and downs.

Notably, the series captured their attempts to sell some of the city's most coveted listings. Some of the highlights included a staggering $250 million penthouse at Central Park Tower and a luxurious penthouse in Chelsea's Jardim.

Both properties remained unsold during the show but were quickly scooped up shortly after the season aired. Considering the popularity of the first season, it’s likely Netflix will order a second one soon.

Ryan Serhant is excited about season 2 of Owning Manhattan

Ryan is optimistic about the show's continuation. In the interview, he said that he believes that the groundwork laid in the first eight episodes has set the stage for an even more exciting future.

"[Season 1] was eight episodes of building out the world to let you know what's coming because there’s bigger and better waiting in the wings," he explained. This statement hints at the unfolding drama and dynamic market conditions that viewers can expect to see in future episodes.

Moreover, Ryan suggested that the unscripted drama and the intricate dealings of Manhattan's luxury real estate market provide ample material for more seasons.

The show's format, which dives deep into the mechanics of real estate transactions and agent interactions, has resonated well with its audience, blending educational content with entertainment.

As fans eagerly await official confirmation of a second season, Ryan’s comments offer a hopeful glimpse into what could be on the horizon for Owning Manhattan.

His vision for the show not only involves expanding its narrative but also deepening viewer engagement with what goes on behind the scenes of one of the world’s most bustling real estate markets.
